We exclusively use calf leather from selected European tanneries. Our leather preserves the natural character of the hide and develops a unique patina over time. For our selection of linings, we use undyed calf leather, goat suede, pig suede, and cotton canvas.

Variations in the grain of the leather, such as creases, pores and shifts in shade, are a natural part of the hides we use to make our products. We do not consider them defects, but rather evidence of the material's origin and authenticity.

The leather naturally develops a patina through use, care, and exposure to light and its surroundings elements. In combination with regular leather care, this process enhances the material's character.

Our products are manufactured by artisans in Sweden, Spain, Italy, and England. Production is based on the product's design and the required craftsmanship.

Our production combines analog craftsmanship with technical modernity, where many steps are performed by hand - including cutting, sewing, edge painting, pleating and polishing.

With regular care and proper storage, leather objects can last for decades.

Leather is naturally resistant but not waterproof. A thin layer of leather balm increases protection against moisture; this should be repeated regularly throughout the product's lifetime. When you get home after a hurried walk in the rain: wipe the product with a soft cloth and then let it air dry - away from heat sources. When it's dry to the touch – treat your piece with leather balm to prevent drying out and stains. Our leathers may show scratches due to their natural finish, which allows the leather fibres to show through. In many cases, these marks can be softened by treating them with leather conditioner and will, over time, become part of a unique patina.

For the health of the leather, we recommend avoiding overexposure to light and moisture, as well as overpacking. Store your product in a dustbag when not in use, and fill it with paper or pack it lightly to support its shape. Clean and treat the leather according to its use – a bag used daily should be treated every two to three months.
