Tradition of cooperation
Our inherited material has resulted in collaborations with Swedish artisans from other creative disciplines, such as carpenters, glassblowers and silversmiths. The company has continued the tradition of meeting with other creative disciplines and inviting them to explore the material, and over the years has launched several design collaborations with artisans, designers and artists.
In 2009, a collection of bags designed by acclaimed architect Thomas Sandell was launched, and in conjunction with our 125th anniversary, the Kryss collection was introduced, an extension of our design collaboration and a return to our furniture production. The collaboration was realized through carpentry by KFK Snickeri & leatherwork by Sadelmakarmästarna and our own studio.
When Emma Olbers designed a bag collection for the first time, it was about utilising a living heritage and knowledge, which is why the choice of rattan and undyed vegetable-tanned leather was a natural starting point. The collection, rooted in our characteristic material combination, resulted in three models with Emma's timeless expression and pure material empathy.
In 2014, designer Monica Förster designed the "Stitches & Buttons" collection, a limited collection of three models adorned with hand-covered leather buttons.
"I contacted Palmgrens because I wanted to take on the challenge of letting my knowledge of the furniture world meet the fashion world. The bags are the result of both the meeting with Palmgrens and the meeting between these two worlds."

Over the years, we have had the pleasure of welcoming people from all over the world to our store at Sibyllegatan 7. These encounters have led to collaborations with companies that share our philosophy and respect for materials, in New York, Los Angeles, Seoul, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Sydney.
Great Dane, Australia
Great Dane was founded in 2002 by Anton Assaad, inspired by a love of classic Danish design and motivated by his passion for solid craftsmanship. Anton began importing handpicked vintage furniture from Denmark and has since expanded the collection into the eminent assortment of Scandinavian furniture, home accessories, and lighting that the brand offers today.
We had the pleasure of meeting Great Dane in-store several years ago and are proud to have collaborated since 2017. Great Dane's three showrooms, located in Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne, now showcase a selection of our interior details as well as a curated part of our rattan collection.

Artichoke Fresh Prints, Seoul
In Seoul's Yongsan-gu district, you'll find a selection of our rattan collection, presented at Artichoke Fresh Prints. The gallery was founded by Aline Kim, who has run the branding studio BeMyGuest since 2004. It was her background in design and art that brought her to Stockholm, where we first met at the store in 2016.
Since then, our bags have met Seoul, framed by Aline's carefully curated gallery of sourced posters and works by local artists and designers.
